Listings can only be created by Listing Organizations. Listing Organizations can be created by any registered user, who can then invite others to join. So, your Listing Organization can function as a group your entire redevelopment team can use to work on your listing or monitor its progress. And if you do not publish any premium content, it's completely free.
Listings are used for properties that are for sale and also to create projects. Switch your listing into project mode where you would enter the price, then post the listing to enable the project tools. Use the Project Board attached to your listing to organize or manage your project, or publish it for public engagement.
FOLLOW THESE FIVE STEPS TO LIST YOUR PROPERTY OR PROJECT
1. CREATE A FREE USER ACCOUNT
First: sign up with any email address.
You must register as a user to post comments, send messages or post content.
2. CREATE A FREE LISTING ORGANIZATION
Create a Listing Organization from your user dashboard with just a bit of basic information. Only Listing Organizations can publish properties or post projects and access the full suite of functionality and tools. Every Listing Organization (a/k/a Lister) can:
- Create listings
- Post projects
- Create a free Organization Profile
- Upload a logo for the Organization
- Detail and narrate the Organization's experience, skills and interests
- Create a contact directory for the members of your Organization's redevelopment team
- Invite other users to join your Organization so the entire redevelopment team can share a single project dashboard
3. CREATE A FREE THUMBNAIL LISTING
Begin by completing the essential information in the diligence thumbnail:
4. FILL IN THE EXPANDED INFO IN THE DILIGENCE PROSPECTUS (OR SKIP)
Complete your property's due diligence profile using the ultimate redevelopment prospectus with more than 300 data points across 12 categories of information. Upload more than 20 documents. Add dozens of notes within the listing to amplify check-the-box answers with your own narrative. Print reports to take to a meeting or to mail, or create PDFs to email.
Save your work and come back to build your best answers and attach important documents directly to your listing. Or quickly publish a listing with the most important information. Only the information you enter will be displayed, so those viewing your listing will not be distracted by empty fields.
5. PUBLISH OR POST YOUR LISTING
Free Basic Listings are posted inside the marketplace and only viewable by users with Premium Access subscriptions.
Publish your property openly online with a Premium Listing for maximum reach. A Premium Listing is visible to all users and visitors to BrownfieldListings.com. Publishing a Premium Listing also includes a complimentary Project Board and Premium Profile.Once your listing is posted/published, you can enable a Project Board and share/publish it separately.
DRAFT LISTINGSBefore completing the registration for your listing and publishing it, you may work on it confidentially by electing to SAVE it in a "draft" format. Draft listings are automatically hidden from all users other than you and any users you have invited to join your Organization.
You can find your unfinished listing in your Organization dashboard by clicking on "Draft Listings," which will return you to complete the registration and publish or "activate" your listing when it is complete.
VISIBILITY SETTINGSYou can publish (activate) your listing for maximum reach with "public" visibility even to non-registered users—but you may not want others to see your listing until it is ready. If so, it's important to be aware of and manage your Listing's visibility settings. For confidentiality, we recommend you set your listing's visibility to "Private" or "Hidden" while you work up its due diligence.
