Post Projects and Feature Properties in the Brownfields 2017 ERF Marketplace!
Discussion, due diligence and deal making will begin well before Brownfields 2017 arrives in Pittsburgh this December.
The enormously popular Economic Redevelopment Forum (ERF) is back again at this year’s National Brownfields Training Conference (Brownfields 2017) with more deal and difference making potential than any conference before. Whatever stage your project or condition your property, you can find the tool, learn the technique or get the tip you need to get it to next step in the ERF at Brownfields 2017. So, whether it’s the first step on your journey to redevelopment or the last—and you’re looking for the right buyer/developer—you will find multiple pathways to make real progress at EPA’s big bi-annual brownfield conference.
Every other year, EPA rallies a uniquely representative audience from across the many disciplines working in the redevelopment space. Thousands of public and private sector professionals gather at a different U.S. city in one of the largest events of its kind anywhere in the world. Policymakers and EPA personnel sit together with community leaders, developers and private sector professionals for nearly of week of the highest caliber educational programming, collaborative exercise and direct, open engagement.
This year’s expanded online and digital features will provide conference attendees even greater opportunities to participate and engage. And potentially spark real action.
Brownfields 2017 attendees can bring properties and post projects to the ERF Marketplace and receive technical support, get expert guidance and/or gain tremendous exposure. The ERF Marketplace Map will feature properties and projects with exclusive placement on the conference website, on the national redevelopment marketplace, BrownfieldListings.com, and across the internet in a combined campaign to draw attention and/or action to each redevelopment opportunity that participates.
For these reasons, there will be no better place to post your RFP, RFQ or RFI this fall than in the ERF Marketplace at Brownfields 2017. Any attendee can submit any number of sites to participate in the ERF Marketplace. They may also apply to participate in the multiple opportunities for free technical assistance and professional support.
Participating in the ERF Marketplace events is complimentary with registration for all Brownfields 2017 attendees. And for those listing sites or posting projects to the ERF Marketplace Map, you may also receive additional technical and marketing support services from the elite Brownfield Listings Team.
The Brownfields 2017 ERF Marketplace will build on the event’s momentum at Brownfields 2015, which led to ultimate success for a number of participants. Howardville, Missouri, for example, was an EPA brownfield grant winner, but failed to find a vendor to perform the work at its historic high school for years after three RFP attempts all went unanswered.
A fourth RFP was published in the ERF Marketplace ahead of the conference and featured on BrownfieldListings.com. Howardville’s participation and online presence drew attention to its RFP from not one, but half a dozen environmental consulting firms with the experience to take on the challenges at the community's largest structure. The ERF Marketplace gave Howardville its pick of consultants and it signed on its first choice less than a month after attending Brownfields 2015.
The online ERF Marketplace for Brownfields 2017 will open well ahead of the conference itself—and it will continue on after events conclude in Pittsburgh to allow for extended follow through. The sooner you register for Brownfields 2017, the sooner your conference experience can begin online. You can start building your profile and sharing your info to prime your presence ahead of what promises to be the most engaged and purposeful National Brownfield Training Conference yet.
