BL Launches Limited In-House Speaker Series with Author on Healing Alternatives
A new small-format speaker series will feature diverse and dynamic speakers, great food and deeply engaging dialogue.
BL is thrilled to announce an intimate and groundbreaking small-format speaker series. These illuminating and inspirational sessions will go beyond the status quo and push the boundaries of what’s possible in search of higher and better solutions to some of today’s toughest challenges. Because if the world is a brownfield, then we’re going to need new ideas and better solutions to resolve all the challenges that sustaining billions of people on planet Earth will entail in perpetuity.
Using the brownfield mentality, we’ll dare to think differently and constructively with an objective, problem solving attitude. Because, as Albert Einstein famously said, “we cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” And after centuries of Industrial Revolution, which solved a lot of challenges even as it piled up planetary scale-pollution and created new, industrial-sized issues, it’s time for a renaissance of new thinking to take on our persisting, pesky problems of the past.
Each session in BL’s speaker series will be unique. A limited number of speakers will engage a very small audience for an evening of discussion, food and networking.
A portion of the proceeds of this event will be donated to the The Heroic Hearts Project, leading the way in the fight against PTSD for military veterans.
*A range of heathy, hearty food and refreshments provided.
**Event parking is available for a fee via the United Center parking lots.
